From March 13–15, 2026, the Doctoral Student Council of the University of Rzeszów hosted leaders of the doctoral community from across Poland during the First Open Meeting of the Executive Board of the National Doctoral Student Representation (KRD).

On February 27, 2026, the Second International Scientific Conference: Similarities and Differences in the Philological Image of the Slavic World in Memoriam of Prof. Mykola Lesyuk was held, organized by the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, Department of Slavic Languages.

The scientific journal Dalton Transactions published an article entitled “Fluorine-substituted cyclometallated rhodium(III) complexes with α-diimine ancillary ligands: synthesis, structure, and photophysical and DNA-binding properties”, co-authored by Patryk Wójcik, M.Sc., a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of the Siedlce University in the discipline of chemical sciences.

On January 28, 2026, during a meeting of the Senate of the University of Siedlce, awards were presented for the second edition of the competition for the best doctoral students of the Doctoral School of the University of Siedlce.
