Between April 25 and 27, 2025, Maryla Karczewska-Czapska, M.A. – Chairwoman of the Doctoral Students’ Council University of the Siedlce and Mariusz Matacz, M.A. – Vice Chairman of the Doctoral Students’ Council University of the Siedlce – represented the Doctoral School University of Siedlce at the 2nd National Scientific Conference of the National Representation of Doctoral Candidates in Warsaw.
In the scientific journal De Securitate et Defensione. On Security and Defense (ISSN 2450-5005) Vol. 10 No. 2 (2024), an article authored by Adriana Dróżdż, M.A., a doctoral student at the UwS Doctoral School in the discipline of security sciences, entitled Logistical aspects
of security in penitentiary institutions was published.
From January 27 to February 7 2025, Patryk Wójcik, M.Sc., a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of the University of Siedlce in the discipline of chemical sciences, completed a research internship at the Institute of Chemistry of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.
Routledge, a British book and press publishing house, has published a book titled: “Transport revolution and travels to Asia, 1860s-1920s,” with a chapter titled “Two journeys to Siberia: Carceral mobility, social change, and mechanized transport in Waclaw Sieroszewski's writings” by Marta Czeriweniec-Ivasyk, M.A., a doctoral student in the discipline of history, and Kyunne Takaseva and Tomasz Ewertowski.
