On September 17-20, 2024, the 21st General Meeting of Polish Historians took place in Bialystok, during which doctoral student of the UwS Doctoral School, Marcin Krasuski, M.Sc., presented his research results on “The fertility of rural families in the Kingdom of Poland in the years 1815-1867 on the example of the parishes of the Lusk region” as part of the poster session of young scientists.
The scientific journal "PeerJ"’ (100 points according to the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education) published an article entitled "Comparison of hunting site strategies of the common buzzard Buteo buteo in open landscapes and along expressways", co-authored by Paweł Cieśluk, M.Sc., a doctoral student at the UwS Doctoral School in the discipline of biological sciences.
From July 13 to August 11, a doctoral student at the Doctoral School in the discipline of history, Alicja Szumowiecka, M.A., participated in the Summer School of Slavic Studies (LSSS) under a scholarship funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. The trip was made possible by a bilateral agreement with the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
