We are pleased to announce that Jacek Drążkiewicz, M.A., a doctoral student in the Department of Literary Studies, is a member of the organizing committee and a principal investigator for a grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, awarded under the program “Social Responsibility of Science III – Module: Popularization of Science” (SPN/SP/0134/2026/010): From Pen to Performance. A Dialogue Between Contemporary Artists and 19th/20th-Century Women Writers.

A total of 110 projects were approved for funding under this module, amounting to 26,186,141.53 PLN. The project *From Pen to Performance: A Dialogue Between Contemporary Artists and 19th/20th-Century Women Writers* received 23 out of 25 points in the expert evaluation and was awarded the requested amount of 88,088.00 PLN.

The project’s substantive coordinator is Dr. Beata Walęciuk-Dejneka from the Institute of Linguistics and Literary Studies, and the supporting (artistic) coordinator is Dr. Anna Karolina Zwoniarska from the Institute of Fine Arts. The leading field and discipline are the humanities and literary studies, while the additional field and discipline are the arts/visual arts and art conservation. The project is interdisciplinary in nature and will be carried out over two years: 2026–2027.
