Winter Bird Watch in Ostrów Mazowiecka

On January 28, 2023, a doctoral student in biological sciences, Pawel Ciesluk, M.Sc., conducted an ornithological excursion in Ostrów Mazowiecka for the fourth time , as part of the countrywide Winter Bird Count campaign. During the trip, 429 bird specimens, representing 13 species, were counted.

Educational project: “Academic lesson”

On 26 January 2023, Rafał Borychowski (MA), a doctoral student at the Siedlce University Doctoral School in the discipline of history conducted a lesson for the second grade students (humanistic profile) within the “Academic lesson” project. The lesson was conducted at the IV Secondary School in Siedlce named after Hetman Stanisław Żółkiewski and its topic was: “What can we learn about a person’s life from documentation?”
