On 31 May 2023, Adam Matyszczak, M.Sc., a doctoral student at the Siedlce University Doctoral School, took part in the European Conference "Maize, a Key to build our Future - Maize as the Plant of the Future", which was held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. The conference was held at the Congress Centre of the Institute of Plant Protection- National Research Institute in Poznan. The conference focused on the future of maize cultivation in Europe and worldwide, the search for new solutions and innovations in its production, taking into account environmental protection and the use of maize in organic farming.

The spring issue of the quarterly "Ptaki" of the OTOP (The Polish Society for the Protection of Birds, 1'23) published an article by Agnieszka Parapura, a doctoral student in the discipline of biological sciences, titled "The Valley of the Kostrzyń River". In it, the doctoral student tells about the Kostrzyń Valley located in eastern Mazovia - a place that is a refuge for many bird species and has received the status of a Natura 2000 area. She also describes the key species for the area, her interesting observations and also tourist attractions

On May 21, 2023 the academic run was held ("Akademicka Dycha"), a street run organized by the Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in cooperation with local sports associations. The Siedlce University Doctoral School was represented by MA Anita Smyk (history), and MA Dominik Kowalczyk (security studies).
