DOCTORAL SCHOOL

A review of the book "Szczepan Kowalik, Arkadiusz Kutkowski, Death death not judged. The case of priest Roman Kotlarz, Lublin – Warsaw 2020", written by Anna Kłoś, MA - doctoral student in the discipline of history, was published in the Res Historica No. 51/2021 (100 points in the list of scientific journals and conference proceedings MEiN).

On 27-28 May 2021 a doctoral student at the Siedlce University Doctoral School within a discipline of agriculture and horticulture M.Sc. Karol Remiszewski attended the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference “Theoretical and Practical Aspects of the Development of Horticulture, Vegetable Growing and Viticulture”, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the prof. I.P. Hulk Department of Horticulture and Vegetable Growing and the 165th anniversary of the Agricultural University in Dublany. During the conference he gave a presentation on Production effects of boron on onion cultivation.

On 22-26 June 2021, doctoral student at the Doctoral School, Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in the discipline of security studies, MSc. Mateusz Janczuk participated in the Erasmus + mobility in Agrigento, Sicily. The purpose of the visit was to promote the Erasmus + program and preparatory actions for youth exchanges under the EU program to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.

On 10^th-11^th June 2021, the Institute of History, Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities organized an online scientific conference „The world hidden in archives”. One of the members of the Organizing Committee was a doctoral student Rafał Borychowski in the discipline of history, who gave lectures at the conference: „Reconstruction of the past reality based on the church visitation documents from the 16th to 19th century on the example of the parish under the invocation of St. Stanislaw Bishop and Martyr in Siedlce" and „The image of the world seen through the prism of the documentation in the institutions with separated archives". Anna Kłoś, another doctoral student in this discipline who participated in the conference, delivered a paper „The everyday life of the inhabitants of Łosice in the years 1944-1975 on the basis of archival materials”.
