During their stay in Sweden at Grimsö Wildlife Research Station, doctoral students from the Institute of Biological Sciences: Ms Oliwia Karpińska and Ms Katarzyna Kamionka-Kanclerska, conducted pilot studies on 8 selected nature reserves: Farmansbo urskog, Halleskogsbrannans, Helgedomen, Gronbo, Getapulien, LappLand, Utterdalen, Järleån.
During the field visits, research areas were selected for the project on the differences in the abundance of tree-related microhabitats in different types of forests and their use by vertebrates in the forests of Central Sweden.
During the seminars, a draft of the research plan was created, as well as the methodology was developed, the work was divided into individual research tasks and a convenient time for the project implementation was set.
