On September 2-3, 2021, the 1st Doctoral Students Forum in Siedlce took place remotely via the Google Meets platform.
The inaugural lecture on "Democratic collegiality as a modern way of university management" was given by prof. dr hab. Monika Kostera - professor of economics, professor of humanities, currently lecturer at Université Paris-Saclay (France), Södertörn University (Sweden) and the University of Warsaw (Poland), one of the most outstanding specialists in the field of ethnography, anthropology and the theory of organization and people management.
The 1st Doctoral Students Forum in Siedlce, which was attended by several dozen people, in order to disseminate the idea of interdisciplinarity, enabled the exchange of views, scientific knowledge and experiences. Doctoral Students from 4 different research centers: the University of Warsaw, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and the Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities, gave lectures in one of the six scientific disciplines: Security Studies, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, History, Agriculture and Horticulture and Animal Science and Fisheries.
We hope that the Doctoral Students Forum in Siedlce will become a permanent fixture as a cyclical event necessary to build a community of doctoral students.
