Łukasz Domański, M.Sc., a doctoral student at the UwS Doctoral School in the discipline of agriculture and horticulture, took part in the Startups in the Palace project, which was organized on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Andrzej Duda.
The main goal of the Startups in the Palace project is to support innovative Polish companies in their search for development opportunities, including possible investors, business partners and new markets.
This year's edition of Startups in the Palace was attended by a delegation from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Siedlce. Invited to this unique event by the President of the Republic of Poland Mr. Andrzej Duda were:
- Prof. Marek Gugala, Ph.D. - Vice-Rector for Studies at the University of Siedlce,
- Emilia Rzążewska, M.Sc. - assistant professor at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at UwS,
- Łukasz Domański, M.Sc. - doctoral student at the UwS Doctoral School in the scientific discipline of agriculture and horticulture,
- Piotr Krasnodębski, M.Sc., and Mateusz Olizaruk, M.Sc. - fifth-year students in the field of agriculture.
The theme of this year's series was technological innovation in the agri-food sector. The event aimed to show the changes taking place in Polish agriculture through innovation and the role that startups play in this process. The meeting was attended by young creators, but also experienced companies that have been introducing innovative technological solutions for years, as well as representatives of startup hubs and universities.
President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda also hosted the winners of the 7th edition of the Startups at the Palace project titled Innovation in Agriculture.
