From 8 May to 21 May 2023, Martyna Haraf, M.A., a doctoral student in the discipline of security studies, completed a research internship under the supervision of Andrzej Wawrzusiszyn, Ph.D., at the Department of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
During the internship, the doctoral student conducted a library search, expanded the database of materials collected so far in the subject of the dissertation, conducted seminars and scientific consultations with lecturers, improved teaching skills by conducting and participating in classes on border security, participated in seminars and events organised by the Faculty of Law and Administration, i.e. a seminar of the Scientific Circle of Suicidology, III Days of Penal Sciences, participation in a workshop on securing a crime scene using a 3D scanner. In addition, participation in the research internship enabled the doctoral student to conduct her own research entitled. "The feeling of security of students of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn towards currently occurring threats related to the border security of the Republic of Poland".
