On 16 January 2022 doctoral students of biological sciences Paweł Cieśluk and Przemysław Obłoza participated in the national action Winter Monitoring of Waterbirds. Monitoring of Wintering Waterbirds (International Waterbird Census) has been carried out in Europe since the mid-1960s.
