
Between 2025 and 2026, four scientific articles authored by PhD candidate MSc Agnieszka Sulej were published. Three of these articles form the basis of her doctoral dissertation.
In the first article, MSc Sulej and her co-authors demonstrated changes in the egg coloration of the red-backed shrike occurring over a period of 130 years, which may have led to the disappearance of common cuckoo brood parasitism in shrikes

The third study assessed whether simulated vocal presence of a brood parasite increases the frequency with which shrikes reject artificial eggs mimicking cuckoo eggs

The fourth article, not directly related to the doctoral dissertation, examined the effects of bird feeding combined with rural settlement type on the structure of wintering bird assemblages

According to the scoring system of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the journals in which these articles were published were assigned between 100 and 200 points, while the Impact Factor values of these journals range from 1.8 to 8.4.
