From April 10-13, 2024, a doctoral student at the UwS Doctoral School in the discipline of history, Joanna Szklarz, MA, carried out a research trip at Utrecht University.
As part of the trip, she had consultations with Prof. Dick Davis of Ohio University (pictured) and Dr. Patrick Skupniewicz.
As part of the conference "Femininity and Masculinity in Persian Culture and Literature," she presented a ref. Estranged Sun? Gordāfarid of Firdowsī's Šāh-nāma - a female warrior in pre-Islamic Iran.
